Growing Tomorrow's Deer.....TODAY!!!

OakHaven Forages, LLC has the ability to provide its customers with both high-quality forage seeds and productive wildlife management. The company is headed by Steve Payne, a wildlife biologist with a B.Sc. degree from Mississippi State University, and was founded in 1998 out of necessity because the types of forage seeds needed to manage wildlife could not be found elsewhere.

Steve started researching and testing various forage seeds (forage soybeans, wheats, oats, triticales, etc) to determine which grew the fastest and were the most palatable. Now Steve's company has a full line of forage-quality seeds and blends that perform with premium results.

Along with providing quality seeds, Steve and OakHaven Forages offer wildlife consulting and wildlife habitat management throughout the southeastern United States. Steve can offer free professional answers to many of your wildlife management questions and his consulting rates are reasonable and guaranteed!

Feel free to contact Steve and OakHaven Forages with all your wildlife management questions ...

OAKHAVEN HABITAT MANAGEMENT SERVICES:

Proper habitat management is the key to bigger and better whitetail deer, turkey, and quail! We offer a complete habitat renovation program consisting of the services of using bulldozers, trackhoes, and hydraulic mulchers to improve your habitat, create fire lanes and roads, clear right-of-ways, create food plots, and increase your wildlife-carrying capacity. Complete food-plot planting services and habitat maintenance are also available!

Hydraulic mulchers turn organic trash into mulch, which is quickly turned into fertilizers. Wildlife managers prefer this method by turning unwanted brush into fertilizer and opening up the canopy to sunlight. Many areas that cannot be burned can be mulched to open the canopy and stimulate tree growth in pine plantations and browse production. The hardwoods benefit by removing unwanted trees, such as sweetgums, that compete for nutrients and sunlight.
